Product Description

Di-Potassium Phosphate AnhydrousSynonyms: Dipotassium monophosphate; Secondary potassium phosphate; Dipot­assium orthophosphate; Dibasic potassium phosphate; Potassium hydrogen phosphate anhydrous.

Dipotassium Phosphate(Anhydrous) is a common source of phosphorus and potassium, it is a kind of white crystalline powder. Very soluble in water, in alcohol. Its aqueous solution is slightly alkaline. CAS#7758-11-4

 

Usage:
In food production, it is as buffering agent in antifreeze solutions and control the degree of acidity, as sequestrant in the preparation of non-dairy powdered offee creams. It also functions as an emulsifier in specified cheeses.

It is the nutrient in the culturing of antibiotics, yeast food.
